Child Protection - QLD

  • Applicant completes and signs Part D of the Blue card application form.
  • Unit Blue Card coordinator completes Parts E & F of the application, sights and copies the applicant’s identification documents and certifies that the application details match the identification documents.
  • Completed application and copies of sighted identification are lodged with the Public Safety Business Agency in person, by post, by fax or by using the upload form at: https://www.bluecard.qld.gov.au/uploadform/index.aspx
  • No fee.
  • Positive Notice Blue Card issued to applicant.
  • Public Safety Business Agency provides Australia Service Centre staff with successful applicants’ Blue Card numbers and expiry dates which are then updated in CPAS.
  • Blue card is valid for 3 years
