Child Protection - WA

  • Applicant completes and signs WWC Check application.
  • Provide original and current identification documents that total 100 points, including photographic ID.
  • Employer/Agency Representative signs application.
  • Take completed application from, photographic ID, original identification documents to a participating Australia Post outlet.
  • Pay $11.00 fee.
  • Photograph will be taken when lodging application.
  • Assessment Notice and WWC card issued to applicant.
  • Australia Service Centre staff will verify applicant’s WWC Card and update CPAS.
  • WWC Card is valid for 3 years. If a member already has a WWC Card as a result of their work or volunteering with a different organisation they should present that card for uploading into CPAS. The clerk should then verify the card number online at: http://www.checkwwc.wa.gov.au/checkwwc  and include a copy of the verification in CPAS. In addition the Australia Service Centre needs to be advised of such for registration requirements.
